For his brunch deli pop-up at All-Purpose Pizzeria, Chef Mike Friedman wanted to channel the design vibes of the traditional Jewish delis from his childhood that inspired his menu. Not having spent time in New York deli scene, and not knowing much about the deli culture or design vibe, this was a fun project for me. The deli pop-up ran from mid-August through September 2020.
