Losing RBG was always going to be a blow. But losing her in the heart of a grim 2020 and in the lead up to the election, is especially brutal. When I heard the news, it came with an overwhelming feeling of futility: What can we even do at this point? Then I saw a thoughts a friend, KD, shared: "2020 is telling us that our heroes gave their absolute all. And so should we."
